Wastewater is that of used water which
has been generated by human activities such as domestic, industrial and commercial means. The composition of
all wastewaters is varies place to place, country to country, Industries to Industries.
Thus contamination is highly variable, that is why it is so difficult to
pinpoint a singular definition of wastewater.
In this topic we are conveying massages about "Wastewater or Waste Water" is that water which is contaminated by human beings, used water of any combination of domestic, industrial, commercial, agricultural activities etc. In one sentences- wastewater is that a by product of human activities related to domestic, industrial, commercial or agricultural activities.
Characteristic of "wastewater" depends on place to place, community to community, country to century, Industry to Industry, i.e. it mainly depends on practice.
Household byproduct wastewater are generate from toilets, dish wash, wash basins, bath tabs, bath room, cooking, car washing etc.
Wastewater can contain physical, chemical and biological pollutants parameters and not safe to discharge in land surface.
Pollutants
We already characteristic of "wastewater" depends on place to place, community to community, country to century, Industry to Industry, i.e. it mainly depends on practice, the composition of varies widely. Here we will mention partial pollutants list.
- Heavy metals, like Mercury, Cadmium, Lead, Chromium, Arsenic etc.
- Organic insoluble particles like- vegetable and food waste, body waste, paper plant waste etc.
- Organic soluble particles like urea, sugars, drugs, organic Carbons, ammonia, different hydro molecules etc.
- Inorganic Particles Like Silica, debris, grits, rubber, different oxides, different metal salts etc.
- Gases like different sulphide, di-oxide, methane etc.
- Toxic materials like paints, adhesives, pesticides, poisons, herbicides, etc.
- Pharmaceutical products like, abuse drugs, hormones etc.
- Plastics like polyethylene, polypropylene, polyester etc.
- Biological Pollutants like Virous, bacteria, protozoa, parasites etc.
A major part of untreated wastewater discharge into inland surface globally causes water, air and land pollutions. Due to bad practice of human a vast quantity of wastewater form household, industries, agricultural system are discharge into water head in urban and rural area globally.
There are several process adopted globally to "treat Wastewater" globally now a days like Physical, Chemical and Biological treatment process.
One of widely adopted "Wastewater Treatment Process" are "Aerobic Treatment Process" is Known as "Active Sludge Process" is to develop "Active Micro Organism" to remove organic matter present in the wastewater.

Reuse
Treated Wastewater can be reuse for cleaning, washing, toilet flushing, gardening in household, use in cooling tower, fire system in industrial etc, in the case of industries.
Now a days, some advance societies are use treated wastewater as drinking water after processing through advance treatment technics such as "Reverse Osmosis, Forward Osmosis, Ozonating, Ultrafiltration, Advance Oxidation" etc.
Conclusion
A point of pollution, it is our responsibilities to discharge wastewater in land surface after treatment to safe our planate and to reuse to minimize water crisis.
